With our fantastic tour guide we will discover monuments and traditions of this pleasant seaside town, which has always been an important commercial hub. Strolling Via dei Mercanti, you will arrive at the Cathedral, a very important Romanesque monument, with its beautiful atrium, its precious style and its wonderful crypt. You will enter the alleys of the medieval city discovering the secrets. The city is famous for the Salerno Medical School that will soon enter in the Unesco list. We will continue towards San Pietro a Corte, the ancient palace of Prince Arechi, to conclude the visit at SAlerno Cathedral.
After the excursion is recommended the the visit of Giardino della Minerva, the first example of a botanical garden in the Middle Ages.
